Wood connects viticulture and guitar building in an elementary way. Four builders combine their strengths into an idea - a project that should give others strength. Stephan Attmann, Ralf Mattern and Jens Ritter bundle their knowledge and craftmanship to support German Cancer research. Kirk Bauer had the idea for the initiative. With the sale of an elementary Riesling from Forster Pechstein and with the auction of a unique guitar, they hope to help people who still have their whole lives ahead of them.
That's the motto of the "Deutsche Kinderkrebshilfe" foundation. Together with the "Deutschen Krebshilfe eV." they finance almost all children's therapy studies currently done in Germany. Successes are booked with the continuously improved treatment concepts: e.g. almost 80% of the children suffering from leukemia survive the disease. The activities are financed exclusively by donations and voluntary contributions from the public. The Deutsche Krebshilfe e.V. doesn't receive any public funds.
