We are excited to announce that we are part of the #MazdaDiscovers project – an inspiring YouTube series that explores the most extraordinary forms of high-quality craftsmanship around the world.
Go check it out here.
In the upcoming days, we will also post some excerpts of the video to share some insights here with you! Stay tuned!
Thank you @mazdaeurope and @jamesmatthewsmedia for the great collaboration!
Being recognized for our passionate work fills us with gratitude, and we are honored to be featured alongside other outstanding artisans, including the Takumi masters. Mazda itself has embraced these traditional Japanese techniques for over 100 years, incorporating them into its final design process to this day.
Especially in today’s world, it is essential to highlight the value of craftsmanship: it preserves and evolves cultural traditions, tells the story of a society, and shapes its identity. High-quality craftsmanship prioritizes durability and meticulous workmanship and often serves as the foundation for technological innovation.
In the video, Jens shares his thoughts on how craftsmanship transforms into an artistic form of expression – something radiant that goes far beyond mere functionality. Beyond the pursuit of the highest quality, it is grace and emotional inspiration that enable outstanding creativity and artistry. With the knowledge of tradition behind him, he sets his sights on the future – on the invisible, the yet-to-be-shaped.
