This is my 2021 charity guitar of which all proceeds will go to SOS -Children Village in Eisenberg Germany.
It is a remarkable organization which has an actual village with women living in houses with up to 7 children who, for whatever reason, are not able to live with their own families. One can't have but great respect for these women. They are available as a parent for all children 24 hours a day and provide them with a family life. I have enormous respect for them.
The guitar is covered with paintings made by the children, and was auctioned off at a private auction with support of our local Lions Club Deidesheim. We are happy to announce that the highest bid was a 5-digit number. 100% of the money will go directly to the SOS-Children Village located in Eisenberg. The money will be used for purchasing musical instruments, to pay a teacher for music education, and to bring some positive musical energy into the life of these children.

Dear customers, dear friends,
as some of you may already know, besides making instruments I also paint, create sculptures and art installations. Some of my art pieces and installations have already been acquired by collectors and museums.
I mostly use the electric guitar as a medium for my art. There is just so much the electric guitar gave us over the last decades - not simply its function as a musical instrument. As an art project, I started to work on a path to better understand the electric guitar’s cultural impact on us. Through some of my artworks, I am changing its function to get closer to its core – to discover the electric guitar’s psychological content itself.
I finally decided to make these creations public and started a dedicated website to showcase my artworks, which is now online!
At this point I would like to say a big thank you to all of you who have believed in me as a creative person. Without all of your support, I would not have been able to become who I am today! I am on a high peak of my creative energy; nearly every day I get inspired with ideas for instruments and artworks which I will materialize in the future.
I will be at the MIAMI ART WEEK coming December 6th to December 9th. Please send me an email if you want to meet me and see some of the new art pieces.
Now it is my pleasure to introduce 2 new art series to you:
- The SLEEPING BEAUTIES – Electric guitars deactivated and sent to a 100 year sleep.
- The DAYDREAM MEMORIES – Sculptures reflecting the formal language of electric guitars.
Please enjoy and share my website: www.jens-ritter.art
Best regards
Jens
