Public release of my new art series!

Dear customers, dear friends,

as some of you may already know, besides making instruments I also paint, create sculptures and art installations. Some of my art pieces and installations have already been acquired by collectors and museums.

I mostly use the electric guitar as a medium for my art. There is just so much the electric guitar gave us over the last decades - not simply its function as a musical instrument. As an art project, I started to work on a path to better understand the electric guitar’s cultural impact on us. Through some of my artworks, I am changing its function to get closer to its core – to discover the electric guitar’s psychological content itself.

I finally decided to make these creations public and started a dedicated website to showcase my artworks, which is now online!

At this point I would like to say a big thank you to all of you who have believed in me as a creative person. Without all of your support, I would not have been able to become who I am today! I am on a high peak of my creative energy; nearly every day I get inspired with ideas for instruments and artworks which I will materialize in the future.

I will be at the MIAMI ART WEEK coming December 6th to December 9th. Please send me an email if you want to meet me and see some of the new art pieces.

Now it is my pleasure to introduce 2 new art series to you:

- The SLEEPING BEAUTIES – Electric guitars deactivated and sent to a 100 year sleep.

- The DAYDREAM MEMORIES – Sculptures reflecting the formal language of electric guitars.

Please enjoy and share my website:

The Jens Ritter PECHSTEIN

Dear customers, dear friends,

I'd like to tell you about a project that is very important to me, but first some other news:

Our order books are filled and delivery times are getting long (Spring 2019 at the moment). With adding coating specialist Sabeur Baccouche to the RITTER team, we expect to get your instruments ready faster.
We are already working on some new spectacular finishes too... So stay tuned!

Starting in September, The North American Guitar store in London will be the exclusive UK dealer for JENS RITTER INSTRUMENTS. There will be an official launch event, held at their London Showroom on the 14th September. I will be there with some new guitars and I will talk about my instrument making. For more information about the event, please visit:

We have managed to squeeze in some extra basses and guitars in between our orders. See what is available at

Now I would like to present to you: THE PECHSTEIN. A crazy project I started together with some local friends here in my village. We built a wine barrel and a guitar body out of a local oak tree and fermented the guitar body in the finest Riesling of the Von Winning winery. Later this year we will sell the wine and auction off the finished instrument. All proceeds will go to Children Cancer Research!
